LACAZE ENERGIES equips its laboratory with a DSC machine
Within the framework of its R&D investments, Lacaze Energies has just equipped its laboratory with a DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry) machine from TA Instruments. This device allows the performance of very advanced tests for the qualification and control of the production of the inner lining, paint, resins and plastics in a range of temperatures from -40°C to 550°C. This equipment supplies a complete thermal analysis, in particular the temperature of glass transition (Tg) of the materials studied, and allows the simulation of the conditions of reticulation (polymerisation and kinetics). This analysis guarantees the choice of optimal parameters of fabrication, allowing the benefit from the best performances.
Thanks to this equipment, Lacaze Energies qualified its new high performance inner lining for tanks "RC851" and continues the program started in 2008 for the qualification of the next generations of tanks for the domestic hot water production market.
